UKAPA is excited to promote the first Public Policy & Administration Subject Benchmark Statement, published 10 April 2025.
UKAPA’s Chair, Dr Karin Bottom, chaired the 18-month process with deputy chairs Dr Amanda Crompton (UKAPA trustee and Research Co VC) and Professor Alasdair Blair. The advisory panel that developed the benchmark comprised Dr Dion Curry (Swansea University); Dr Abena Dadze-Arthur (University of Birmingham); Professor Claire Dunlop (Exeter University); Dr Ian Elliott (University of Glasgow); Professor Steven Griggs (Staffordshire University); Roscoe Hastings (Exeter University) Helen Jenkins (Local Government Association); Dr Martin Jones (Nottingham Trent University); Dr Irina Lazar (University College London); Dr Barry Quirk (Independent local government advisor); Professor Karl O’Connor (Ulster University); Dr Steven Parker (The Open University).
