UKAPA's Conferences

The UK Association for Public Administration (UKAPA) will continue the Joint University Council Public Administration Committee’s tradition of holding the UK’s major subject conference each September. Conferences will continue to hold the Frank Stacey Memorial Lecture and Keynote Lecture, and each will be delivered by a distinguished academic or senior civil servant.

All conferences will be preceded by the UKAPA Doctoral Conference. Places will be competitive and free to all doctoral researchers from UKAPA membership institutions, as individual scholars, or as institutional members. The workshop will award the Richard Chapman for the best all-round paper (£400 and free entrance to the following year’s full conference) and the Public Administration Prize for the most publishable paper (publication in the journal Public Administration with editorial mentorship).
