Michael is a research and innovation management professional at Brunel University. Prior to this he worked in the private sector including as Head of Business Development for a large Health Consultancy Group. Michael holds a PhD in Public Health and his research focuses on innovation governance, innovation funding for SMEs and University and Business interaction. He has published work in the field of public health and social media engagement and innovation management and has taught public health, social work and programme management in the UK, Europe and Asia.
