Abena is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Administration and Policy (DPAP) at the University of Birmingham. Before entering academia, Abena spent ten years working as a public administrator across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Abena’s work focuses on decolonizing and transforming approaches to public administration and management, and contributing to the development of indigenous solutions and sustainable change.
